I just wanted to publicly thank Governor Pat Quinn for his support of public workers and of unions and collective bargaining in general.
It was a very close race for Governor here in Illinois in 2010, even Nate Silver thought that Governor Quinn was going to lose to republican challenger Bill Brady. Had that been the case, we in Illinois would have been facing the same union busting legislation that the Koch brothers pretty much wrote themselves for the union buster Scott Walker.
So thank you governor Quinn for all your hard work and common sense.

Here’s a message for all of the other governors around the country. Grow some balls. Now is not the time to lay low and keep your opinions to yourself. Be on the right side of history, or you’ll BE HISTORY.
